Geraldine Worley, 79, of Lake Placid went to be with her Lord early Wednesday morning April 28, 2010 at the Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center in Sebring surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Worley was born on August 12, 1930 in Cincinnati, OH to parents James and Dorcie Adams. She moved to Lake Placid in1957 coming from Chicago, IL. She enjoyed taking photographs, cooking and growing roses in the garden. She loved celebrating her Lord and was of the Assemblies of God faith attending both the First Assembly of God-Sebring and First Assembly of God-Lake Placid. Mrs. Worley is survived by her loving husband of 53 years; Leonard, Sr., daughters; Debi Turner, Diana Pittman and Savon Cooper; sons; Marty, Steve, Lenny, Jimmy and Gilbert Worley,, 17 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Granddaughter, sisters; Joyce Enders and Linda Schmidt. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday evening (today) April 30, 2010 with funeral services 10:00 AM Saturday morning May 1, 2010 at the Scott Funeral Home, 504 W. Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid with Pastor Wilmont McCrary officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery
