Gerald (Jerry) Hufcut passed away peacefully at his Florida home on December 13, 2021. Born December 1, 1940 in Middletown NY to Adelaide Dewitt Hufcut (deceased) and Leland Hufcut (deceased) Jerry grew up on the family dairy farm in Pine Bush NY with his three sisters, Shirley Herbert (deceased) Lois Dejong (deceased) and Joyce Harrison. Jerry worked as a constable, small engine repair shop owner, highway superintendent, heavy equipment owner and operator and craftsman.  His interests included music, woodworking, photography and tractors. As a lifelong Pine Bush NY resident, Jerry was well known, respected and loved by many and will remain an indelible part of the Town of Crawford. He is survived by his daughter Georgia Gordon and husband Scott, grandson Anthony Gordon and wife Laura, sister Joyce Harrison, many nieces, nephews and extended family. As per Jerry's wishes, services will not be held.
