Georgina P. Sabater, 89, of Lake Placid went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.   Georgina was born on March 7, 1932 in Santiago de Cuba, daughter of Maria (Sorribes) and Francisco Perez.  Georgina has been a resident of Lake Placid for two years, moving here from Miami.  Georgina has been a resident of the Miami since 1966 coming here from Cuba on the Freedom Flight Program.  She worked for many years making custom fishing rods and later took care of her grandchildren; enjoyed gardening, watching birds and cleaning her house. She loved to be with her family and friends anytime they could get together. Georgina is preceded in death by her spouse Enrique and son Jorge Luis.  She is survived by her loving children; Henry E., Katrina and Frank A.; 8 grandchildren; Karina, Alexis, Jason, Kristen, Jordin, Katrina, Christopher and Cassandra and 7 great grandchildren; Camila, Kale, Marcus, Mia, Bryce, Lukas and Luna.
