George C. Fisher, 77, of Lake Placid passed away Monday, March 26, 2018 at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Sebring.  He was the son of Mary Osa (Stover) and Cleo Fisher who was born on June 22, 1940 at Vinton, Ohio.  George was a mechanic with Union Local # (number) working for Millwright from 1974 to his retirement in 2000.  After his retirement George moved to the Lake Placid area in 2001.  George enjoyed tinkering around the house, fixing anything that was broken and a good round of golf. He loved t spend time with his family and friends especially his grand and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Janet, daughters; Misty Bashore (Kris), Christy Parkhill (Patrick), Penny Fisher, son; Rodney Fisher (Janet Coker), 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, (any sisters or brothers).  A service to celebrate George's life will be held in April in Ohio.  Words of comfort to the family can be made by visiting www.scottfuneralservices.com .  Arrangements entrusted with the Scott Funeral Home 504 W.
