Georganna Matthews, 92 of Lake Placid went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday morning June 10, 2020 at her residence.  Georganna was a native of Arcadia, FL who was born on May 25, 1928 to parents Pauline (Hagen) and George Skinner.  She was a retired employee with the State of Florida working in Arcadia.  Georganna was a member of the Moose Lodge and was of the Christian faith.  She was an avid reader who enjoyed a good novel and coloring in adult coloring books.  She loved to be with her family and friends any time they could get together.  She is survived by her loving daughter, Patricia Smith (Rex), 3 grandchildren; Jeff Smith, Kristi Mohammodbhoy (Adam), Becky Browning (Hooker), 6 great-grandchildren; Tyler, Hunter, Kayla, Peyton, Corin, Camilla, 4 great-great grandchildren; Willow, Beckham, Sadie, Kyler, sister; Lavada Croom and a brother; Eugene Skinner (Mary).  In keeping with Georganna's wishes, services are private for the family.  Words of comfort to the family can be made by visiting www.scottfuneralservices.com .  Arrangements entrusted to the Scott Funeral Home 504 W.
