Gary G. "Reddog" Lockie, of Lake Placid, Florida, passed away on January 24, 2021.  Gary served in the US Army and attended Southern Methodist University. He was a professional golfer from the age of 19 and a life member of the PGA.  His passion for the game of golf led him down a career path that included designing and building several golf courses throughout the Midwest, owning/operating golf courses and driving ranges in the Quad Cities and selling golf equipment to his peers as one of the original representatives for Taylor Made.  Gary is survived by his daughter Brenda (Charles) Paul, son Brian Lockie, and grandchildren Austin Paul, Connor Lockie, and Abbie Lockie.   He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Alma Lockie.  Words of comfort to the family can be done by visiting www.scottfuneralservices.com .  Arrangements entrusted to the Scott Funeral Home Lake Placid, FL 863-465-4134.
