Francis "Frank" Joseph Parker II, 93, of Lake Placid, FL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 6th.

Frank is survived by his children of his first marriage to Ramona Niedzielski: son Mark Parker (Thea) of Oregon, daughter, Ramona Kurland (Philip) of Georgia, and his son Frank Parker (Joey) of Wisconsin.  He was also married a second time to Lois Homan and is survived by stepdaughter Sheryl Gills (Keith) of North Carolina and stepson Larry Homan (Tess) of Ohio.  He is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first son Christopher, his first and second wives, his parents, Frank and Susan (Zintek), his brothers Robert and Edward, his stepdaughter Pamela (Pam) and her husband Ed Koornneef, as well as his close friend Martha Roseman of Greenfield, IN.

Mr. Parker was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was known for his easy-going nature and positive spirit.  He found great joy in helping others in need and enjoyed meeting new people and learning about their life journey as well as sharing stories of his own.  He will be dearly missed by many people in numerous states including his newest friends at the Balmoral Assisted Living facility.  We appreciate everyone there, both staff and fellow residents, for being an important part in the last chapter of Frank's life.

There will be a small graveside ceremony for family at Oak Hill Cemetery followed by burial.
