Frances Kathryn Neely, 96, of Lake Placid passed away quietly on Friday, September 24, 2021, at the Sunny Hills Assisted Living Facility in Sebring, Florida. Frances was born on April 29, 1925, in Olean, New York and was the daughter of Margaret (Burke) and Ralph Brundage.   Frances has been a resident of Lake Placid since 1985 moving here from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  Frances was the retired head bookkeeper of the City of Fort Lauderdale.  She was of the Catholic Faith.  Frances enjoyed reading many books, working with numbers, and doing crossword puzzles.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother who loved to be with her family and friends anytime they could gather.  Frances is preceded in death by her loving husband Floyd and is survived by her loving daughter; Danielle and sons; Robert, Thomas, Richard, and James, numerous grandchildren, many, great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.  A memorial celebration of Frances' life will be held later.
