Frances M. Brown, 90, of Lake Placid went to be with her Lord on Sunday morning November 20, 2016 at The Manor at Lake Jackson in Sebring. Frances was the daughter of Elizabeth Cisterio and Andrew Pentino, who was born in Waterbury, CT on August 10, 1926. Frances has been a long time resident of Lake Placid moving here from Miami in 1982. She was the office manager of the Highlands County Builder Association before retiring. Frances was an active member of the Placid Lakes Baptist Church who worked many hours in the office. Mrs. Brown taught Sunday School for 35 years and sang in the choir, both were her passion and love. She loved spending time with her family. Mrs. Brown is survived by her loving daughter, Alison Lofton (Larry); granddaughters, Kimberleigh Valdez and Rebecca Lofton; great grandsons, Coby and Connor; sister, Andrea Gordon (Tom) and brother, Bobby Pentino (Alberta). A service to celebrate Frances life will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Placid Lakes 116 Cleveland Avenue NE, Lake Placid with Rev. Darrell George and Rev. Jeffery Taylor officiating.
