Flossie Jane Williams, 84, of Lake Placid passed away Friday morning February 12, 2010 in Rockledge, FL. She was born on April 19, 1925 in Indianapolis, IN to parents Robert and Eva (Shoobridge) Farmer. A homemaker she moved to Lake Placid in 1981 from Orlando and was a member of the OES Chapter Harbor City 263, Daughters of the Nile Shilah Temple 151 and the Eastside Christian Church of Lake Placid. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her loving husband William and is survived by her children; Donna Schrock (Dayle) and William J Williams II (Georgia), 4 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will be 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Friday February 19, 2010 with funeral services celebrating Mrs. Williams's life following at 2:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home 504 W. Interlake Blvd. Lake Placid with Pastor Stephen Bishop officiating. Mrs. Williams will be buried next to her husband at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
