Evelyn J. Lewis, 85, of Lake Placid went to be with her Lord early Friday Morning May 25, 2012 in Sebring. She was born on January 20, 1927 in Grand County, KY to parents Loraine (Maddox) and Jay Webster. She started working at the Formica-American Cyanamid Company on July 20, 1943 to help in the war effort during WWII, retiring August 1, 1983. She moved to Lake Placid in 1986 from Cincinnati, Ohio. Mrs. Lewis enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with family and friends and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Placid. Mrs. Lewis is survived by her loving children; daughter, Mrs. Sherry Lind and son. Bruce Hargreaves both of Fairfield, OH; three grandchildren, Sean Paul Lind, Tommy Carl Lind and Jessica Hargreaves all from Cincinnati, OH, Several great grandchildren and a sister, Bonnie McCubbin of Independence, KY. A service to celebrate Mrs. Lewis life will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday May 30, 2012 at the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Placid 118 N. Oak Avenue, Lake Placid with Rev. Ray Cameron and Rev. Drew Severance celebrating.
