Erma E. Wearsch, 76, of Lake Placid went to be with her Lord on Saturday morning March 1, 2014 at the Balmoral Assisted Living in Lake Placid. She was born on February 9, 1938 in Southfield, MI to parents Margaret (Johnson) and Norman Tobel. Mrs. Wearsch was a retired banker moving to Lake Placid from Michigan in 2004. A member of the Lake Placid Red Hats Society and she was of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Wearsch enjoyed gardening, baking cookies and cakes and loved spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Wearsch is survived by her loving husband who she wed June 6, 1956, Glenn; daughter, Wendy McKeown; sons, Gordon and David Wearsch; 5 Grandchildren; 8 Great- Grandchildren and 2 brothers Marvin and Gary Tobel. Services will be held at a later date.
