Emily Yvonne Hebert, 85, of Lorida, FL went home to be with her Lord Sunday evening, September 15, 2024, at her residence.  Emily was born on June 4, 1939, in Dearborn, Michigan and she was the daughter of the late Arvel Wooten (June) and Florence (Jim) Boyer.  Her given name may have been Emily but took on the nickname of Penny which is the name everybody knows her by.
She married her loving husband, Robert Hebert, in November of 1964 in Wayne, Michigan where they lived and raised their two daughters until they retired and became Florida snowbirds then decided to move there permanently in 2011.  It is here where they enjoyed their retirement traveling and spending time with their many new friends who became like a second family in the community they lived in. They were married for 52 years before Roberts passing in 2017.
Penny is survived by her loving daughters Michelle Hebert, Sheri Hebert (Steve Wysocki), brother Arvel (Judi) Wooten, brothers-in-laws Stan Grabski, Stan Michalski, countless nieces and nephews along with her friends at Hidden Acres Estates.  She was preceded in death by her parents Arvel (June) Wooten & Florence (Jim) Boyer, her husband Robert Hebert, and her twin sisters Joan Grabski, and Jean Michalski   A celebration of Penny's life for family and friends will be scheduled at a later date.
