Eleanor M. Lehmann, 79, of Lake Placid went to be with her Lord on Sunday morning, August 30, 2015 at the Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center in Sebring. She was the daughter of Kathryn Getman and Nicholas Gallo who was born on August 27, 1936 in Medina, PA. Eleanor was a retired tape drill operator with ATT. After retiring she and her husband moved to Lake Placid in 2002. Mrs. Lehmann was of the Christian faith. Eleanor was a member of the Ladies of the Elks Lodge 2661. She enjoyed traveling by land or sea and loved to be with her family and friends. Eleanor is survived by her loving husband Richard Lehmann; daughter, Diane K. Hornig (Don); son, David Lehmann (Debra): seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and Aunt Virginia Burns (Jim). A service to celebrate Eleanor's life will be held 2:30 PM, Thursday September 10, 2015 at the Scott Funeral Home 504 W. Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid with Rev. Elizabeth Nelson officiating. A Ladies of the Elks Services will follow. A gathering for family and friends will be held one half hour prior to service time.
