Edward Albert Voytek, 81, of Lake Placid, FL went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Sebring, Edward was born on October 13, 1944, in Bridgeport, Connecticut and he was the son of Mary (Herschak) and Stephen Vojtek. He served his country with honors in the United States Army. Edward has been a resident of Lake Placid for the past ten years, moving here from Middlebury, CT after his retirement as a tool maker/engineer. He was a member of the St., James Catholic Church in Lake Placid who enjoyed fishing the local lakes, gardening around the house, doing crafts and working puzzles. Edward loved to be with his family and friends whenever they could get together. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years Angela Voytek and he is survived by his loving sons; Edward and Gregory and his two grandchildren Jamie Sentos and Steven Voytek. Edward will be laid to rest with his wife at the Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, FL. at a later date. Military honors will be provided by the United States Army Honor Guard.
