Edward Robertson Jr., 76, of Lake Placid went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday morning April 24, 2023 at his residence.  Edward was born on March 26, 1947 in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania and was the son of Joan (Ewing) and Edward Robertson Sr.  Edward served his country with honors in the United States Navy as a Navy Seal in Vietnam. After the service to his country he married the love of his life Marsha. They were married 55 years. After starting a family he attended Western Bible Institute. He went to work in the insurance industry where he retired as a district manager.  Edward was of the Pentecostal faith and a member of the VFW.  He enjoyed fishing the area's lakes, and riding his trike. He loved to be with his family and friends any time they could get together.  Edward is preceded in death by his loving daughter Tina and his grandson Austin.  He is survived by his wife, Marsha, daughters; Toni and Elizabeth, sons; Christopher (Brande), Joshua and Steven, 9 grandchildren, a sister; Joanne (Maggie) and 3 brothers; Fred, Gary and Dennis, his mother Joan and her husband Bob. A service to celebrate Edward's life will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 1, 2023 at the First Assembly of God Lake Placid with Pastor Steven Davis Officiating. Military honors presented by the United States Navy Honor Guard.
