Edward Homer Ferguson, 85 of Lorida, FL, went to be with his Lord Thursday, December 6, 2012. He was born June 8, 1927 in Relief, KY to parents, Girta and Sallie (Ison) Ferguson and had been a resident of Lorida for 14 years coming from Columbus, OH. He was an active member of First Baptist Church of Lorida, Pipe Fitters Local 189, Columbus, OH for 60 years, served in the U.S. Air Force, and he enjoyed traveling and fishing. Mr. Ferguson is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Della; children, Michael (Jeanie) Ferguson of Flat Gap, KY, Jan (Jack) Branham, of Galena, OH, Tamara (Steve) Morris of Cygnet, OH; grandchildren, Becky (Jamie) Burkett, Seth (Linda) Ferguson, Timothy (Nikki) Ferguson, Trena (Bert) Rachals, Kriss (Tom) Long, Josh (Beth) Branham, and Steven (Amber) Morris; and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Norma Brown and Mabel Ferguson. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Lorida from 1-2 PM with a service to celebrate Homer's life beginning at 2 PM with Pastor Wayne Godwin and Rev. Marcus Marshall officiating. Inurnment will be in Paintsville, KY at a later date. In memory of Mr. Ferguson, contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Lorida, P.O.
