Edward Austin Baldwin Jr., "Eddie", 39 of Lake Placid went home to be with his Lord on Friday, June 30, 2023. Eddie was born on April 9, 1984 in Hollywood, FL and was the son of Beth Ann (Bisbey) and Edward Austin Baldwin Sr. Eddie has been a resident of Lake Placid for over 30 years, moving here from Hollywood. Eddie was a bore machine operator in the utility construction industry. He was of the Christian faith and enjoyed deep sea fishing, fishing the local lakes, spending time at the beach and being on the ocean. He loved being with his family and friends anytime they could get together, especially time with his daughter and son. Eddie is preceded in death by his loving father Edward Sr., grandparents Edward L Baldwin and Roberta (Baldwin) Ransom, and Robert and Carol Bisbey, he is survived by his loving daughter; Mya Marie Baldwin, son, Edward Austin Baldwin III, mother; Beth Ann Baldwin, sister; Brittney Goodman (David), niece Addison Goodman, grandmother; Gwen Lovett and many extended family members including aunts, uncles and cousins. A service to celebrate Eddie's life will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Community Church of God 735 S. Sun 'N Lakes Blvd., Lake Placid with Pastor's Keith Campbell and Paul von Merveldt officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. In keeping with Eddie's wishes, family and friends should dress casual (Shades of Blue, fishing, or beach wear).
