Dorothy E. Sharp, 75, of Lake Placid went home to be with her Lord on Saturday morning March 10, 2018 at the Highlands Regional Medical Center in Sebring.  She was the daughter of Jane Laurendeau and Clarence Luce who was born on April 13, 1942 in Meriden, CT.  Dorothy has been a long-time resident of Lake Placid moving here from Davie Fl. She was of the Catholic faith and attended St. James Catholic Church.  Dorothy was a member of the Ladies of the Moose Lake Placid Lodge.  She enjoyed, cooking, her cats and dogs, music, playing the tambourine and wearing her jewelry.  Dorothy loved to spend time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.  She is survived by her loving daughter Michele Knudson and sons Michael Lentoski and Jeffrey D'Amato and eight grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and a sister; Pamela Mellish and loving companion; Lenny Kesterson.  A funeral service to celebrate Dorothy's life will be held 11:00 AM, on Wednesday (Today), March 14, 2018 at the Scott Funeral Home 504 W.
