Donald Glen Reynolds, 83, of Lake Placid, FL went to be with his Lord on Monday morning April 14, 2014 at the Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center in Sebring, FL. He was born on January 18, 1931 in Spencer, OH to parents Della (Cowley) and Jay Reynolds. Donald served his country proudly in the US Army. A retired barber, Donald was a winter resident for 22 years and a permanent resident of Lake Placid for the past 8 years moving from Ohio. He was a member of the Medina Moose Lodge, VFW and a life member with the Eagles. Donald was of the Christian faith. Donald loved spending time with both his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and step-son Larry. Mr. Reynolds is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Jean; daughters, Kristine, Kimberly and Renee; step-daughter, Judy; sons, Donald and Gary; step-sons, Darrell, Jeff and Don; 8 grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren; sister, Betty and a brother, Lester. Inurnment services with Military Honors will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, May 12, 2014 at the Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, FL. Memorial services to celebrate Donald's life will be held later this summer in Medina, Ohio and this fall in Lake Placid, FL.
