Diane S. Snyder, 74, of Lake Placid, FL and Stittville, NY, passed away February 14, 2017. Diane was born in Watertown, New York on August 17, 1942. She is predeceased by her parents, Doris (Wendt) and John Sanford of Boonville, NY. She was a graduate of Boonville High School and went on to Nursing School to become a registered nurse for the State of New York for over 30 years. She was a talented artist and she and her husband, Hal, enjoyed many years traveling and showing at juried craft shows following their retirement from the State. She was also an avid gardener, loved to cook and read and spend time with her children and grandchildren.

Diane is survived by her loving husband, Hal, of nearly 54 years, two daughters, Deborah (Preston) Hoeve of Xenia, OH and Aimee (Bob) Travis of LaFayette, NY, son, John Snyder of Lake Clear, NY, brother, Dick (Linda) Sanford, 9 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and 7 nieces and nephews.
