Diane J. Mullins, 78, of Lake Placid went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the Advent Health Lake Placid Hospital.  Diane was born on October 12, 1942 in Longview, Texas and was the daughter of Maxine (McFarland) and Russell Lloyd. Diane has been a resident of the area since 1989, moving here from Arcadia.  Diane was an accountant with Lykes Citrus Management Division before retiring.  She volunteered many years for Desoto County Fair Association, 4H, FFA and South Florida Fair Cattle Shows. Diane was of the Christian faith.  She was an avid reader who enjoyed a great novel, saltwater fishing , crocheting, gardening around the house and puzzles.  Diane loved to be with her family and friends anytime they could get together, especially time with her two grandchildren.   Diane is survived by her loving husband of 56 years Terry, daughter; Denise Mullins Mishoe (Cliff), son; Rusty Mullins (Robbie) , two grandchildren; Macey Mullins, Molly Ahmed, sister; Sandra Lloyd and a brother; Jerry Lloyd (Evelyn) .  In keeping with Diane's wishes, services to celebrate her life will be private for the family.
