Diane Theresa Miano, 48, of Lake Placid passed away Wednesday morning November 4, 2009 at her residence. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on September 9, 1961 to parents Bob and Patricia Hotz. She and her husband moved to Lake Placid three years ago from South Florida and started several businesses including the Lake Placid Mobile Notary. Diane loved to travel, especially to her mountain cabin in Montana and was of the Catholic Faith. She is survived by her loving husband of 18 years; Gary, parents Bob and Patricia Hotz, mother and father in law Dorothea and Joseph Miano, sister-in-law; Sharon A. Maher (Thomas) and Nancy A. Miano, brother-in-law Thomas J. Miano, a niece; Molly and nephew Brian Donavan The family will receive friends from 4:30 PM till 9:00 PM Friday (Today) November 6, 2009 with a prayer service at 6:30 PM with Father Richard Seiffely officiating at the Scott Funeral Home 504 W.
