Dennis Edward Orlos, 63, of Indian Harbor Beach, FL formally of Lake Placid went to be with his Lord on Thursday June 25, 2015. He is the son of Jenevieve (Kramer) and Edward T. Orlos, born on December 6, 1951 in Ypsilanti, MI. He moved to Lake Placid form the Florida Keys in 1998 and spent the past several years in Indian Harbor Beach. Dennis was the owner of many restaurants including the Taco Bell in Sebring. Dennis had a passion for sports and was the founder and director of the Miracle League of Highlands County in Lake Placid. Mr. Orlos loved spending time with his family and friends and being able to help others. He was of the Christian faith. Dennis is survived by he loving wife of 42 years Debbie; daughters, Shawna Orlos and Jeni Ginjauma; son-in-law who was like his son Ariel Ginjauma; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a sister, Gail Remily. A memorial service to celebrate Dennis's life will be held 6:00 PM, Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the Scott Funeral Home, 504 W. Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid with Rev. Ray Cameron officiating. A gathering for family and friends will be one hour prior to service time. The family suggest donations in Dennis's memory to the Miracle League.
