Dennis B. Hall, 61, of Lake Placid passed away Tuesday morning March 12, 2013 at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Sebring surrounded by his family. He was born on August 24, 1951 in Phenix City, Alabama to parents Helen (Hicks) and Zebedee Hall. He proudly served his country in the US Marine Corp during Vietnam. Dennis moved to Lake Placid in 1998 from Garland, Texas. A heavy machine operator by trade, Dennis enjoyed tinkering in his shed working on anything that needed to be repair. He loved spending time with both his family especially his grandchildren and friends. Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Beverly; daughters, Tracey Sullivan (Grady) and Jennifer Candelario (Melvin); son, Dennis "Shawn" Hall; 5 grandchildren, Dalton, Mara, Mason, Dennis Warren and Joel and 3 step-grandchildren, Melvin, Joshua and Valerie; 3 sisters, Pricilla Hardy, Karen Biehl and Melba Brown; 2 brothers, David Hardy, Sr. and Wallace Hall. A service to celebrate Dennis's life will be held 11:00 AM Thursday March 21, 2013 at the Scott Funeral Home 504 W. Interlake Blvd.., Lake Placid with family and friends celebrating followed with military honors.
