Denes J. Olah, Jr., 59, of Lake Placid, formally of Pinellas County, FL, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 31, 2025, at his residence. Denes was born on March 3, 1966, in Dayton, Ohio and he is proceeded in death by his parents Joyce (Nichols) and Denes Olah, Sr. He served his country with honors in the United States Navy serving on the USS Wabash. Denes was of the Pentecostal Faith who enjoyed spending time fishing and being outside. He loved to spend time with his family and friends whenever they could get together. Denes is survived by his 2 sisters; Eva Johnson and Caroline Olah ,1 brother; Shon Olah and Sister-in-Law Theresa. Denes loved his numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces very much. A service to celebrate Dene's life will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the Scott Funeral Home, 504 W. Interlake Blvd. Lake Placid, with military honors presented by the United States Navy and the VFW Post 4300 Honor. Guard. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service times.
