Delma Joan Long, 84, of Lake Placid went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday evening March 19, 2015 at Sunny Hills Assisted Living in Sebring. Mrs. Long was born on March 18, 1931 in Kiowa County, OK and was the daughter of Florence and Joseph Harner. Mrs. Long worked for many years at the A & P Supermarket along side her husband, then starting there own business in wholesale food distribution. Mrs. Long enjoyed entertaining her many friends with her passion of cooking and preparing meals for them to enjoy. She loved to spend time with both her family and friends. Mrs. Long is preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years Kenneth Long; brother Doyle Harner and she is survived by her loving daughter Cheryl Long and brothers, Keith and Don Harner. A service to celebrate Mrs. Long's life will be held 3:00 PM Sunday April 12, 2015 at the Community Church of God 735 South Sun 'N Lake Blvd., Lake Placid with Pastor Joe DeHart celebrating.
