Della Margaret Bishop, 95, of Lake Placid passed away on Friday morning August 7, 2015 at The Palms of Sebring. Mrs. Bishop was one of eleven children born to Lucy (Kurtz) and Prince Royalty on October 9, 1919 in Bohon, KY. A retired beautician, Mrs. Bishop moved to Lake Placid in 1972 from Hialeah, FL. Mrs. Bishop enjoyed bowling, a good game of golf, traveling in her motor home around the country and cooking for her family. She loved to be with her family and friends. Mrs. Bishop was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness Lake Placid. Mrs. Bishop is preceded in death by her loving husband, Luther; 3 sisters and 7 brothers. She is survived by her loving children, Daughter; Louann and her husband Paul Leuenberger, Son; Gregory Bishop and his wife Donna; granddaughter Angela Hazard, grandson; Christopher Bishop, his wife Elyce and great-grandson, Zackary. A memorial service for Mrs. Bishop will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, August 15, 2015, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness Lake Placid 172 Holmes Avenue Lake Placid, FL with Elder Ken Langley officiating. Following the services the family will be receiving friends at her home in Lake Placid.
