Darren Pollmann, 53, of Lake Placid went home to be with is Lord on Friday morning, July 5, 2019 at the Advent Health Lake Placid Hospital.  Darren was the son of Carol S. Smith and Donald L. Pollmann, who was born on March 24, 1966 in Springfield, Illinois. Darren was been a resident of Lake Placid for the past 3 years, moving here from Broward County.  Darren was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Lake Placid. Darren enjoyed visiting the many restaurants in the area, trying all the many different food venues. He loved to be with his family and friends especially his brother Mark.  Darren is survived by his loving parents, Carol and Donald and brother, Mark. In keeping with family's wishes, services for Darren will be private.
