Dallas R. Pember, 83, of Lake Placid went to be with his Lord on Friday evening March 8, 2013 surrounded by his family at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Sebring. He was born on January 7, 1930 in Parma, Ohio to parents Ethel (Baughman) and Lowell Pember. A retired air traffic controller with the FAA he moved to Lake Placid 26 years ago from Cleveland, OH. Dallas was a sport pilot who enjoyed building air planes, riding his motorcycle and traveling through out the country in his RV's. Mr. Pember loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Charlotte; sister, Lola Scoggins; sister-in-law, Wilhelmina Dunn and several nieces and nephews. A private service for the family was held.
