Clifford Leroy "Tex" Ritter, 75, of Avon Park, went to be with his Lord on Saturday afternoon December 7, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on December 1, 1938 in Sioux Falls, SD to parents Alma (Anderson) and Wilbert Ritter. A retired truck driver in the sanitation industry, Clifford moved to Lake Placid 5 ½ years ago from Westminster, CA. He enjoyed motor cycles and a good game of billiards and loved spending time with family and friends. Clifford was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Josephine. Mr. Ritter is survived by his loving wife of 19 years Janet; 2 daughters; 3 sons; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 3 sisters. A memorial service to celebrate Clifford's life will be held on December 28, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Lake Josephine 111 Lake Josephine Drive, Sebring, FL with Dr. Kevin Ahrens officiating
