Clark B. Maxson, Jr., 71, of Lake Placid passed away Saturday afternoon May 22, 2010 at the Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center in Sebring. He was born on October 10, 1938 in El Reno, OK to parents Clark B., Sr. and Lorene (McBride) Maxson. Mr. Maxson was a retired water well contractor in Oakland Park, FL moving to Lake Placid 7 years ago from Ash County, NC. Clark had a passion for the outdoors, enjoying boating, fishing, hunting, camping and riding his scooters. Mr. Maxson is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Rita, sons; Britt (Joan B.), Gregg (Leslie), Bryan (Eva) step-son; Alex (Janice) 12 grandchildren who he always enjoyed spending time with and a brother Gailon Maxson. A gathering for family and friends will be held from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM Friday May 28, 2010 with celebration of life services following at 1:00 PM celebrating Mr. Maxson's life. Pastor Don Roberts will be celebrating.
