Christine A. Summerfield, 65, of Lake Placid went to be with her Lord early Thursday morning February 16, 2017 at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Sebring. Christine was the daughter of Shirley and William Dobson. She was born on March 26, 1951 in Yonkers, NY. She moved to Lake Placid from Hollywood, Florida 21 years ago. Christine worked for many years as an accountant for several firms. Christine enjoyed spending time on her computer keeping up with current events, family activities, or playing a video game. Christine is preceded in death by her loving daughter, Lori Summerfield. She is survived by her loving husband, David Nelson; two grandchildren Kayla Summerfield and Amanda McKenna; one sister Karen Miller and brothers, William Dobson, Richard Dobson, Donald Dobson, and John Warnick; many nieces and nephews. A gathering for family and friends to celebrate Christine's life will be held at 11:00am, on March 12th, at The Ross' home with Mrs. Rhoda A. Ross officiating.
