Charlie Brewer, 80, of Lake Placid went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at the Advent Health Hospital Lake Placid. Charlie was born on October 15, 1943 in Middletown, Ohio and he was the son of Evalee (Lindon) and Willie Brewer. He was a retired plumber in the Naples area. He has been a part time resident of Lake Placid since 2004, becoming a permanent resident four years ago. Charlie was of the Christain faith. He enjoyed fishing the local lakes for crappie and loved being with family and friends, having fish fries and spending with his grand and great-grandchildren. Charlie is survived by the love of his life of 60 years Corliss; son, Bill Brewer (Connie); two grandchildren, Melanie Brewer (Chad Applegate) and Krystal Brewer (Cort Beebe); two great-grandchildren Kilynn Beebe and Colden Beebe; and his sister, June Bowles. In keeping with Charlie's wishes, the family will celebrate his life in private.
