Charles Alan Rowe "Al", 83, of Lake Placid, Florida passed away at home on Sunday morning August 19. He was born in Worthing, Sussex, England to William Edward Charles and Elsie Rowe. Al moved from Harwich, Massachusetts to Lake Placid in 2003. He was a retired salesman working with investment products. He enjoyed golfing, reading and playing cards. Al loved to be with family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Margery and daughters Barbara Sullivan (Mark), Beverly Denny (Bill), four grandchildren as well as brothers Gordon and Gerald.  Al had been active in Masons, Shriners, Jaycees and Lions among others.  A gathering for family and friends to reflect and celebrate Al's life will be held at 2pm on Friday, August 24th at the Tomoka Heights Club House 108 Brentwood Drive South, Lake Placid.
