Charles Julian Price, 96, of Lake Placid went home to be with his Lord on Monday, May 3, 2021 at the Balmoral Assisted Living in Lake Placid.  Charles was the son of Effie (Williams) and Roan Albert Price.  He was born on June 25, 1924 in Glade Spring, Virginia.  He served his country with honor in the US Army Air Corp where he was a tail gunner in B-17.  Charles is a retired laboratory technician with the Chrysler Corporation with many years of service. After retiring he moved to Fort Myers for several years then moving to Lake Placid in 2004. Charles enjoyed fishing the local lakes, and woodworking.  He loved to be with his family and friends telling stories about serving his country during WWII.  Charles is preceded in death by his loving wife of 73 years Antoienette and daughter, Sharon Brinkman.  He is survived by his loving daughters; Sandra Bowers and Charlene Brinkman, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  An inurnment service to celebrate Charles' life will be held at the Calvary Cemetery IN Dayton, Ohio this summer.
