CHARLES J. KRUEGER

Charles J. Krueger, 88 of Lake Placid, went to be with his Lord on Monday, February 20, 2017. Charles was the son of Harry and Madelyn (Rudolph) Krueger and was born February 16, 1929 in Jamestown, ND. He had been a resident of Lake Placid since 1989 coming from Miramar, FL. Charles served his country in the US Air Force for 21 years and retired as a Master Sergeant and then worked for the Fort Lauderdale Post Office for 17 years. He was a member of the American Legion Placid Post 25, VFW Post, Lake Placid Elks Lodge, Mason's, Eastern Star and was Baptist by faith. Charles is survived by is loving family, Suzanna, his wife of 62 years; son, Robert (Judy); brothers, Donald (Sandy), and Gary (Kathy); and grandchildren Joe, Angel and Ray. A Celebration of Life Service for Charles will be at 2 PM Thursday, February 23, 2017 including a Masonic Service and VFW Honor Guard at Scott Funeral Home, 504 W.
