Charles "Ray" Kersey, 83 of Lakeland, Fl. left this world on July 22,2022 at Orchid Cove in Lake Placid, Fl. Ray was born in Dawson, Georgia on March 26,1939, and was the son of Thelma(Lee) Kersey and Fred Kersey. Ray served his country with honor in the U.S. Army. He has been a Florida resident for over 60 years, and was the proud owner of Kersey Construction. He is survived by a daughter, Dena Whidden (Bret), Grandchildren, Chisum Sullivan, Cheyenne Eisnaugle , Kelly Sullivan, Stacie Murray, 17 great - grandchildren, 2 great- great grandchildren, and a sister Angie O'Neal (Ernie). He lived his life his way, and will be missed by those who know him . The family will have a private gathering.
