In Loving Memory

Celso Cruz Figueroa, age 58, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2026, at Good Shepherd Hospice House. He was born on April 6, 1968, to his loving parents, Alberto Cruz Toledo and Maria Marcos Figueroa.

Celso was a hardworking man who took great pride in caring for and providing for the people he loved. Family meant everything to him. He loved and cherished his family deeply, and he was especially devoted to his father, Alberto, whom he cared for with love, patience, and dedication.

Celso had a fun-loving side as well. He enjoyed scratching lottery tickets, spending time at the casino, fishing, and traveling. He loved the excitement of trying his luck, the peace and enjoyment of fishing, and the opportunity to travel and experience new places. These simple joys brought happiness to his life and created memories that his loved ones will always treasure.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Chelsea Star Cruz, and his siblings, Veronica Cruz, Maria Cruz, Rosita Cruz, Olivia Cruz, Jose Cruz, Benigno Cruz, Sabina Cruz, Maricruz Cruz, Gregorio Cruz, Christian Cruz, Irving Cruz, Alberto Cruz Jr., Margarita Figueroa, Rosa Figueroa, Donaciano Figueroa, Clemente Figueroa, and Victoria Figueroa.

Celso will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his generous heart, his love for his family, and the care he gave so selflessly to those around him. Though his time with us was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

His absence leaves a profound emptiness, but his memory will continue to live on through the people who loved him most.

May you rest peacefully, Celso. You were deeply loved, you will be deeply missed, and you will never be forgotten.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Celso Crus Figueroa will take place at Scott Seawinds Funeral Home in Lake Placid, Florida.

The family will receive friends 11-1 PM, Friday, September 4, 2026 at the funeral home with the Celebration of Life Service beginning at 1 PM. Interment will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery Mausoleum in Lake Placid.
