Carolyn Y. Kucsma, 90, of Lake Placid went to be with her Lord on Wednesday August 24, 2011 at the Florida Hospital Lake Placid. She was born on February 25, 1921 in Racine, OH to parents Charles and Mattie (Theiss) Yost. A retired nurse she moved to Lake Placid in 1989 from Gahanna, OH. Mrs. Kucsma loved spending time with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 plus years who passed away in September of 2004, husband Mike G. Kucsma. She is survived by her loving sons: David A., George J., and Michael C., 6 grandchildren, 3 great grand sons and loving companion Raymond Fox. A gathering for family and friends will be held 1 PM to 2PM Saturday September 3, 2011 with a service to celebrate Carolyn's life beginning at 2:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home 504 W. Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid with family and friends celebrating.
