Carlos Martinez Jr., 21, of Sebring went to be with his Lord on January 24, 2025. Carlos was a native Floridian who was born here in Sebring on September 27, 2003. He was the son of Gabriela Nava and Carlos Martinez Sr. Carlos attended South Florida State College where he earned his LPN Nursing certificate, then started working in the nursing industry.

Carlos was of the Catholic Faith and attended Comunidad Catolica Hispana Santigo Apostol Church. Carlos enjoyed gardening, going to the gym and spending time with his daughters, and he loved to be with his family and friends anytime they could get together.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mahallie Comfort, daughters; Amelia and Yareli Martinez, sisters; Cindy and Maria Martinez and his mother Gabriela Nava. Carlos is preceded in death by his father, Carlos Martinez Sr.

The family will receive friends Friday evening at their residence in Venus with a Mass to celebrate Carlos's life at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 2, 2025 at the Church 685 CR 621 Lake Placid, FL., with Father Felix Gonzalez officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
