Blanche E. Glassbrook, 87, of Lake Placid went to be with her Lord on Monday morning January 2, 2012 at the Hope Hospice in Sebring. She was born on April 4, 1924 in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan to parents John and Jessie (Johnson) Rossman. She moved to Lake Placid in 1986 from Lapeer, MI after retiring as a secretary with an accounting firm. Mrs. Glassbrook enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was of the Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her late husband Randolph L. Glassbrook and Mrs. Glassbrook is survived by her loving children, Jessie Stafford, Harry L. and Gary D. Glassbrook; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; and 1 brother, many nieces and nephews. A private service for the family was held.
