Obituary

Beverly A. Fyffe, 89, of Lake Placid, Florida, peacefully went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at her residence.

Born on January 17, 1937, in Rochester, New York, Beverly was the cherished daughter of Minnie Berghorn Michel and Fred Hines. She spent the past twenty years in Lake Placid after relocating from Southwest Ranches, Florida.

Beverly was a proud graduate of The Ohio State University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy. She devoted many years of her life to serving others through her work as a physical therapist, bringing compassion, skill, and dedication to her patients until her retirement.

A woman of strong Christian faith, Beverly lived her life grounded in love for the Lord and guided by grace. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, boating, dogs, horses and playing tennis but mostly treasured time spent gathering with family and friends. Nothing brought her greater joy than being surrounded by those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Herbert Fyffe; her daughter, Tami Haskins; her son-in-law, Mark Haskins; and her daughter-in-law, Dawn Fyffe.

Beverly is lovingly remembered by her children, Timothy Fyffe; Tracey Norton; and Thomas Fyffe (Tara Fyffe); her eleven grandchildren, Timmy Fyffe, Cory Fyffe (Meredith), Cody Fyffe (Lauren), Jessica Norton, Steven Norton, Danielle Wade (Andrew), Taylor Luhman (Austin), Samantha Haskins, Shelby Haskins, Tag Fyffe, and Tinley Fyffe, as well as her eight great-grandchildren. Her legacy of faith, kindness, and devotion to family will continue through each of them.

A service to celebrate Beverly's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Scott Funeral Home, 504 W. Interlake Blvd., Lake Placid, Florida, with Pastor Norman Edwards officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 a.m., prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Beverly's memory to The Church at Triple Cross Ranch, 20736 NW 100 Avenue Road, Micanopy, Florida 32667. Words of comfort to the family can be made by visitingwww.scottfuneralservices.com.
