Betty J. Paeplow, 91, of Lake Placid went to be with her Lord Friday morning July 29, 2011 at the Lake Placid Health Care Center. She was born on December 7, 1919 in Buffalo, NY to parents George and Ella (Hablitzel) Heidelbach. She moved to Miami in 1949 from Buffalo then moving to Lake Placid in 1959, where she was a Para Professional in education who enjoyed teaching reading at the Lake Placid High School and Lake Placid Christian Academy and loved spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Paeplow was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Placid. She is preceded in death by her late husband Kenneth and is survived by her loving sons, Randall K. and David G. (Libby) Paeplow, 10 grandchildren and a sister Jean Heidelbach. A visitation for family and friends will be at 9:30 AM on Monday August 1, 2011 with a service to celebrate Mrs. Paeplow's life to follow at 10:30 AM., at the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Placid 118 N. Oak Avenue, Lake Placid with Rev. Ray Cameron celebrating. Private burial will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery
