Betty M. Levine, 86, of Lake Placid went to be with her Lord early Thursday morning March 12, 2015 at Balmoral Assisted Living in Lake Placid. She was the daughter of Amma (Sherman) and William Day, born on August 28, 1928 in Estill, KY. Mrs. Levine moved to Lake Placid in 1976 from Iron Mountain, Michigan with her husband Herbert. For many years Mrs. Levine could be found at Lake Placid Publix demonstrating cakes and pastries products to the customers. Mrs. Levine was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and was a Methodist by faith. Mrs. Levine enjoyed baking, gardening around the house and loved spending time with her family and friends especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Levine is preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years Herbert and she is survived by her loving children, Rhonda (David) Raymond, Herbert (Ginger) Levine and Todd (Tammy) Levine; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandsons; sisters, Mary Gerald and Peggy Lafertly; brother, Carl Day.
