Barbara L. Miller, 84, of Lake Placid went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at her residence.  Barbara was born on January 15, 1940, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Barbara was the daughter of Martha Edith (Handsberry) and Harry Graber.  She has been a resident of the Lake Placid area for twenty plus years, moving here from Stafford, Virginia.  Barbara was a retired salesperson in the automotive industry.  She was a very active member at the First Baptist Church of Lake Josephine in Sebring where she could be found on most Sunday's.  She enjoyed church, mission work in the Dominican Republic, teaching Sunday school, bible study classes and helping new mothers.  Her first love was to her God and second being with family and friends.   Barbara is survived by her loving brother Glenn Graber, stepson, Jimmy Dent and a very dear and special friend Debra Casper.  A service to celebrate Barbara's life will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the First Baptist Church of Lake Josephine 111 Lake Josephine Drive Sebring, FL 3875 with Pastors Kevin and Stephen Ahrens officiating.
