Barbara Ann Donely, "Annie" of Lake Placid Florida, went home to be with the Lord on September 19, 2024.

Barbara was born to parents Owen and Eileen Bickle in Stark County, Ohio on March 7, 1945. She grew up on her family farm in Ohio under the watchful eye of her Grandmother while playing with her sister Mary and her cousins. Barbara spent most of her working years in the service industry and moved to Lake Placid in 1984. Barbara was a member of the Elks and the Moose where she spent many weekends playing poker and enjoying good company.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents: Owen and Eileen Bickle (Sullivan), her husband John Donely, her great-granddaughter Graclynn Rose, her sister Mary Bickle, and her second husband Bernard McDonald, "Bernie." She is survived by children Randee Baker, Dixie Allman (Michael), Michelle McHenry, and Larry Sturtz (Heather); grandchildren Kayln Baker, James Tyler Baker, Cheyene Untied, Erin Dilly, Faith Untied, Amanda Wilbur; as well as many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren

In her 79 years of life, she was known for her strong will, outspoken nature, and diligent work ethic. She was a loyal friend with a compassionate heart and she will be missed dearly by her friends and family. Services will be held at Scott Funeral Home October 26, 2024 at 1:00PM
