Arnold Edward Megna, 98, of Lake Placid went to be with his Lord on Monday afternoon July 23, 2012 at his residence. He was born on November 19, 1913 in New York City to parents Grace (Dichristina) and Michael Megna. Mr. Megna started in the family business Megna and Sons Wholesale Produce in New York then moved to Miramar where he retired with the City of Miramar Public Works Department. Arnold enjoyed music, reading and baseball and loved spending time with family and friends and was of the Catholic Faith. Arnold joined his beloved wife Vittoria, his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving daughters, Grace Cooper and Barbara Starr; 4 grandchildren, Eva Cooper Hapeman, Mike Cooper, Denise Marenna and Eric Starr; and 9 great grandchildren, Christopher, Chelsea, Brittnee, Mathew, Amanda, Kyle, Megan, Chase and Conner. Loving memories of him are shared by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Farewell from your loving family.
