Arno J. Galli, 101 years of age, from Lake Placid, Florida passed away on January 3, 2024, at his home. Father of Sandra (Doug) Durnen of Wisconsin, Roger (Julie) Galli of Lake Placid, Florida and Randy Galli of Rye, New Hampshire, stepson Randy (Carolyn) Taggart of West Bloomfield, Michigan. Grandfather to Scott, Paige, Elizabeth, Jake and Jill. Great-grandfather to Justin, Julianne, Christian, Connor, Tyler and Bethany. Great-great grandfather to Bennett. Arno was a proud World War ii veteran. He served as a B29 aircraft mechanic on the island of Saipan. He owned his own tile contracting company in Michigan and then in Florida. He was a master scroll woodworker and clockmaker winning many awards for his creations. He enjoyed bowling and playing poker with his friends. Per his wishes there will be no service and a private burial.
