Aneta Pearce Sullivan-Addison, 88, of Venus went to be with her Lord on Thursday evening November 22, 2012 at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Sebring. She was born on June 3, 1924 in Okeechobee, FL to parents Ella (Walker) and Julius Pearce. Aneta moved to Venus as a young girl from Bassinger where she spent most of her life. She was a graduate of Okeechobee High School, she enjoyed gardening, painting pictures, baking, spending time in the outdoors and loved spending time with family and friends especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren. Aneta was a member for many years with the Venus Methodist Church. Mrs. Addison is preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers, JW, JC, and BL. She is survived by her loving sons, Grady Sullivan (Brenda), Wayne Sullivan (Carrie); 5 Grandchildren, Grady, Michael, Shannon, Lycole and Caylin; and 7 Great children; sisters, Lou Howard, Frances Hendry and Eloise Tope; brothers, Lonnie and Herman Pearce; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate Mrs. Addison's life will be held 11:00 AM on Monday November 26, 2012 at the Venus Methodist Church, 962 County Road 731 Venus, FL with Pastor Roy Arms officiating. Burial will follow the services at the Venus Cemetery. The family suggests donations in Aneta's memory to the Venus Methodist Church or Good Shepherd Hospice, 1110 Hammock Road, Sebring, FL 33870.
